Bible Reading: Proverbs 14:1-12
Key Verse: Verse 12 - “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
Key Words: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man
Thought: Those who are given to white lies soon become color blind.
The Mormon Tabernacle at Salt Lake City, Utah, reveals a significant truth about this deceptive religion.
When the initial band of Mormons set out to construct a tabernacle, they were disheartened to find that their favorite materials from their homelands of Missouri and Illinois, marble and oak, where not readily available in the valley of the great Salt Lake. The only resource of abundance was pine. The industrious Mormons used the pinewood but added their own special touch. They utilized expert craftsmanship to paint the pine columns to look like marble and artistically converted the pine panels to appear as though oak. To the human eye their cover up is most impressive. Yet, when one closely examines this material impersonation of the truth becomes known.
This physical illusion in the Mormon Church is indicative of what they also portray in the spiritual realm. They claim to believe in Jesus Christ but, like the "marble and oak," it's just another facade, like all false religions who worship another “Jesus.”
